  • I don't understand how the judge could not appoint a guardian ad litem in lieu of the fact the lawyer ADMITTED he solicited his client for the gift of the security system. What harm can it do to err on the side of caution?

  • Well said. It is hard to find the balance. Ms Clark absolutley has the right to her privacy, but if she has misplaced her trust in these two, it needs to be addressed. If they truly have done nothing wrong, why not welcome an audit and clear alll suspicion?

  • 2Wyied4U-Her lawyer admits soliciting the money on behalf of a family member, his daughter. Not legal or ethical. If he admits to that, I suspect he may have more to hide. The houses given to her nurse just add more fuel to suspicion. It must have gone through the same attorney.

  • As her attorney admits he solicited $1.5MM from his client, case closed. Not legal, ethical, or moral. Scumbag attorney should have to repay the $1.5MM plus interest and fines- from his own money not his other clients.

  • Just more of the same, they protect their own. Politicians from either party NEVER follow up on these corruption charges. They drag them out and then drop them, preferably on slow news days when no one cares. They never say the charges were without merit, simply that they decline to prosecute.
